The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is an initiative of the Australian Government and is administered by Diabetes Australia. The NDSS provides information, programs, services and subsidised products to support people living with diabetes.
This session will cover how the NDSS supports women diagnosed with gestational diabetes, pre-existing (type 1 and type 2) diabetes in pregnancy and the health professionals who care for these women and their families.
This session will provide an update on ten (10) key initiatives from the NDSS. These initiatives can be used by health professionals in the workplace to support women with diabetes in pregnancy. Topics covered include:
